Vikki Woodman -Schools representative

Netball has been a fundamental part of my life since primary school, and my passion for the sport has continued to grow throughout the years. Today, I am proud to contribute to netball in a number of roles, including coaching, umpiring and supporting the development of the sport within schools.

For the past three years, I have been the Schools Representative, working closely to strengthen the relationship between school netball and county guidelines. I am passionate about ensuring that young players have positive experiences within the sport and that schools are supported in providing opportunities for players to develop their skills, confidence and enjoyment of netball.

I have been Head Coach of Tibberton Netball Club for six years, a role which has allowed me to develop not only as a coach but also as a leader and mentor. Throughout this time, I have continually invested in my own development, achieving my UKCC Level 3 coaching qualification four years ago, as well as gaining my umpiring qualifications. I am also currently a Birmingham Panthers NPL Coach, providing me with the opportunity to work within a high-performance environment and continue developing talented players. This role has further enhanced my coaching experience and challenged me to continually reflect, learn and improve.

I have worked at Wrekin for 12 yrs to date teaching netball . This year has been a record year of achievements.

For me, netball is about far more than what happens on court. It has given me lifelong friendships, incredible experiences and countless hours of enjoyment.

I am passionate about giving back to the sport that has given me so much. Netball continues to make my day, every day, and I feel incredibly fortunate to be able to play such an active role in a sport that I love.
