Rowena – Treasurer

Netball has been one of my favourite sports since my early school days. I’ve played at school level before joining Kidderminster Carolians during my A Levels.

I played throughout my university years at Aberystwyth and after leaving I joined recycles netball where I played at West Mid regionals. Nowadays, I enjoy playing in our lovely local leagues.

Playing netball has given me so much including a place to decompress after a long day, new and long lasting friendships as well as few injuries along the way.

As a new member of the Shropshire Netball Association Committee, I’m so excited to be part of a group of people trying to grow netball in our county from those of us who just want to have some fun to the people with bigger dreams in the sport.
